What is the one thing about being a writer you love most?
The underdog because it is about a teenage boy who is feeling like he is alone in the world and he is feeling like life is going nowhere at the moment because he is teenager. Sometimes everyone including myself can relate to feeling alone and life is at a stand still for the time being. For example; I am waiting to graduate and until then time is standing still it feels like.
I chose this because this is my prediction to what is going to happen in catching fire. I think that the capitol is going to push the people of Panem way to far, and everyone decides to riot. People are going to riot, and I think that they actually might succeed in overtaking the Capitol.
The dystopia trait that Noam chomsky has is Totalitarian Government. He is a linguist, which is the study of languages, and language is what we all share even if it is foreign. Totalitarian Gov. is when everything is completely controlled by the Gov. He was trying to make people see that there is other ways then total control.
I think this goes with the book because most of the witches accused resist. They do because they are scared and don't know the outcome and most probably think if they admit, they will be hanged. If they don't confess they will be hanged, and if they confess, they will have be forgiven by god. If they didn't really do it, since they are Puritans, they can't lie because that would be sinning. So in that case they don't confess, and get hanged. If it was me, I would tell them the truth, even if it meant being hanged for what I believe.
The person I'm choosing is Abigail, and the word is mischief . I chose her because she started it all with mischief when she got caught dancing in the woods. When she blames people she makes it even worse. She is a very unreliable girl and does not tell the truth. I think this character is very good at getting into mischief, only because she is sneaky. In a way I believe that she really could be a witch, because of what she caused for everybody.
